For all the agents and managers surfing the net for venues....

The Sanctuary is a 60 seat restaurant/bar that books LOCAL jazz combos (mostly) and  singer/songwriters (very few) on Saturday nights.... that's 4 SHOWS PER MONTH.

We do NOT generally book touring acts.

All shows are door gigs...we do NOT do guarantees.

We do NOT provide housing or pay for hotels.

Obviously we are NOT a major entertainment venue.
 
 

If you are still interested and think you would fit in this room...send us an email with your information and a link to audio files of your music (we use Mac platform..no WMA files please).
Unsolicited press packs and CD's  are not a good idea, we will contact you if we need to know more so don't waste your money sending packages fedex.

We receive 30-40 inquiries per month so don't expect a quick response .
(We don't have a booking manager...the proprieter does the booking, bartends, and even mops the floor!)

Hopefully this information will help reduce the number of emails we get from agents wanting  us to book
10 piece funk bands, hard rock groups  and one hit wonder 70's "folk" singers .

Sorry for the rant but the net has made it easier for agents to overwhelm us with inquiries.
